Wedding Planning Process

Well, the wedding planning process hasn't been quite what I was expecting at this point in time... It's been a lot of back and forth trying to make everyone happy. What ever happened to it being the Bride and Groom's day and the wedding being what they want. Aren't weddings supposed to be a celebration of the love that two people have for each other and the commitment they are making to spend the rest of their lives together? I feel like it's turned into this big competition to see who's wedding can be the best story to talk about down the road. I hate to sound selfish but I really don't care too much how people are going to remember my wedding day as long as my fiancee and I remember it as being a wonderful day that we both always imgained for the rest of our lives!!!

On a happier note I can't imagine things getting much worse than they already are so that only means they have to start getting better....
